I really, truly understand you.
Life isn’t as easy as we were led to believe as children. Grow up, get a job, have a family and live happily ever after – that was the “dream”, right?
For so many of us, this path is far from reality. The road is much more like a mountainous hike through a thick jungle as opposed to a paved pathway filled with sunshine and rainbows.
Instead, we struggle with:
- Stress on stress on stress
- Excess weight
- Constant overwhelm
- Binge eating
- Sugar cravings
- Mood swings
Can you identify with any of these symptoms?
I sure can, because truthfully, they’re way too common. But I want to assure you – you don’t have to feel this way forever. If you’re burnt out and drained from life, there is a way out. I promise.
This is my story:
I have always been a perfectionist, and grew up believing that my career would make me happy. If I kicked-butt, worked hard, and gave it everything I had, I would be successful, right? Not exactly. I was 25 years old and burnt out, in constant digestive distress, and falling asleep on the couch at 7pm every night.
That was not a way to live. It was completely unsustainable.
After my medical doctor couldn’t tell me what was going on, I explored the realm of natural healing. I learned that I was suffering from adrenal fatigue (burnout), and that it was crucial to take care of my mind and body before things got worse.
For months I implemented lifestyle and dietary changes, and eventually overcame my burnout in a healthy, natural way.
Inspired by everything I had learned, I enrolled at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition to become a Certified Nutritional Practitioner (CNP). Food has immense healing properties and is critical in any wellness journey. I wanted to learn more about how nutrition could impact my overall health.
Then I burnt out again.
Shortly after recovering from my first run-in with adrenal insufficiency, I learned that my brother was diagnosed with cancer. A year and a half of chronic stress from his treatments, part-time school, a full-time job, buying our first home and planning a move was too much for me. I burnt out for a second time. This time, my symptoms were much more severe and I was forced to take time off work to recover.
I’ve been healing my adrenals and balancing my hormones for the past couple of years through a wide variety of natural techniques and dietary changes. My experience in the holistic health field has allowed me to recover from burnout a second time. Every day that I improve, I am in awe of the body’s natural ability to restore health and vitality. I believe that anyone struggling with hormone imbalances, exhaustion, fatigue and overwhelm can find healing through nutrition and lifestyle adjustments.
As a holistic nutritionist and wellness advocate, I want to empower women like you who are struggling with hormone health, adrenal fatigue and stress management.
I share my story to remind you that nothing is impossible, and that our health is in our hands. Our bodies are designed to heal themselves, they just need your support.

Kelly Maia Agnew, CNP, ROHP, RNCP is a holistic nutritionist with a passion for women’s health and wellness. Upon receiving her Honours Bachelor of Commerce, with a specialization in marketing, she began her corporate career in buying for a multi-billion dollar corporation. After neglecting her health and quickly burning out, she decided to make a career change. She graduated from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in 2017 with first class honours – all while working as a marketing associate for a national crown corporation.
Kelly is the founder of Kelly Maia Nutrition, a company dedicated to empower and inspire women on their journey to healthy living. After experiencing adrenal fatigue twice in the past five years, she has learned the importance of slowing down and supporting the body with a holistic approach to healing including nutrition, lifestyle, and mindset. With the number of stressed out and burnt out women on the rise, Kelly shares her tools and knowledge via her signature 6-week online program, From Burnt Out to Balanced, private consultations, and other group programs.
