Stuck in a job that I hated.
Eating foods that only made me feel worse.
Falling into a sugar addiction.
Suffering from adrenal fatigue.
Being paralyzed with anxiety.
Feeling unwell and unhappy.
Feeling trapped in my life.
Yes, I’ve been stuck before, too. It is an all-too familiar story, one that we see over and over again, yet we feel so alone while we experience it.
In my younger years, I grew up in a household where health was not the priority. I have consumed more sugar than you can possibly imagine, devoured more hot dogs and “cheese” slices than you can count, and became addicted to Pepsi in my teens. I carried many of these habits into adulthood, and I started to gain weight. Then a stressful period in my early twenties lead me to lose this weight and more, and I fell to a size 0 for the first time in my life. No, I didn’t like it. Looking in the mirror was scary. I kept thinking I shouldn’t be this small.
I realized that I needed to make some serious changes. I needed to create sustainable healthy habits, so I turned to nutritious foods and a regular gym routine. I was determined to put the weight back on, but it was going to be muscle, not fat. I was going to treat my body with the respect that it deserved for the first time in my life.
Here I am, 5 years later, at the healthiest I’ve ever been. I fuel my body with nourishing foods, my brain with healthy thoughts, and my life with positive choices. Taking care of myself has rewarded me with health, energy and vitality. The whole world deserves to feel this good. Even you deserve to feel this good too. Yes, you do. And that’s why I’m here.
